Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Gerald M. Ostrov has served as Bausch & Lomb’s chairman and chief executive officer since January 2008. Mr. Ostrov leads the eye health company’s 13,000 employees worldwide to perfect vision and enhance the lives of its consumers, with products available in more than 100 countries.

Most recently, Mr. Ostrov was company group chairman, Worldwide Vision Care, for Johnson &
Johnson, where he led the company’s global Vision Care businesses from 1998 through his retirement in
2006.
