• Computer Teachers for Seniors St John’s Home - To work with residents one on one, individual basis with computers; Need volunteers who are familiar with basic computer knowledge in word processing, e-mail and/or internet use.
• FIRST Robotics - is targeted at high-school-aged teams to provide an exciting, multinational competition that teams professionals and young people to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way. Need many volunteers to help with the competitions events, training, mentoring etc. FIRST is also looking for corporate sponsors to help form teams.
• RIT Venture Creations Incubator Digital Entrepreneurship - represents a convergence of traditional entrepreneurship with an emphasis on new technologies, new business forms and the opportunities created by new technologies. An emerging area of excellence at Rochester Institute of Technology, Digital Entrepreneurship has begun to attract national attention for this exciting initiative. Need volunteers to participate in internships, marketing initiatives, surveys etc.
